Tom Mardirosian See play(s)
Born in Buffalo, NY, Tom Mardirosian is a professional actor and has appeared in over a dozen films most notably as Nico “Delay” Guardia in "Presumed Innocent." He’s been on Broadway with Robert De Niro, originated a multitude of characters Off-Broadway, and performed with The New York Shakespeare Festival many times. Quite by accident, he began writing plays of his own, and his first play SAVED FROM OBSCURITY, a theatrical autobiography, was nominated for a 1989 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Unique Theatrical Experience. His second play, SUBFERTILE, opened at Playwrights Horizons, the most respected Off-Broadway theatre in New York, and is soon to be an HBO feature film. Tom is a graduate of the University of Buffalo Theatre Department and a member of the Dramatists Guild. He’s married to Frederica Meister and lives in New York City with their daughter, Anna Victoria Mardirosian.
